African Wildlife Paintings

My collection of African Wildlife paintings bring memories to life of a beautiful unspoiled land. But in reality a lot of African Wildlife is restricted to game reserves and a lot of species have became endangered due to pouching and human encroachment on land. By adding African oil paintings to the Vanishing Africa Collection I believe will keep us aware of a land and it beautiful glow a little bit longer.

In 2008 I took my newly wed wife and my 2 year old daughter to Queen Elizabeth National Park to for our honeymoon. We had a very memorable experience. On my return I painted the the African wildlife collection. Even thought I was I was born in Africa, I am always amazed and inspired when I go to game reserves and parks. This collection is dedicated to the wildlife of the Kazinga channel.

Even thou the African Wildlife Paintings collection varier away from my traditional John Mubiru abstract and figurative look, I have maintained strong brush strokes, thick and random oil paint application and use of blunted brush and pallet knives there by maintaining my trademark art studio look and appeal.
